Community Groups

altCommunity Groups are weekly small groups (6-15 people) that serve as a means to not only get to know more about this new church, but also to get to know more about the people and life of the city we are ministering in.

TCC is now offering these Community Groups. If you are interested in joining a Community Group, simply email us.

Sometimes two to three Community Groups come together for a service or social activity (20-60 people). A service activity may include serving at a homeless shelter, prison, ESL luncheon or alongside any other ministry or non-profit in our city. Social activities may include grilling and playing ultimate Frisbee at a local park, or a potluck alongside of a Settlers tournament. These Community Group partnerships serve as a great way to get to know others from our city and other Community Groups.

DNA Groups

Within Community Groups, as people do ministry and life together, they end up forming deep relational ties with others in these groups. Naturally, groups of 2-3 people often start to meet frequently for times of prayer, encouragement and accountability. We call these groups DNA Groups, which are not systematically organized, but rather encouraged through the vision of Community Groups so that they organically happen. Would you like to be in a DNA Group? Take the initiative to ask someone from your Community Group that you have been connecting with to grab a cup of coffee, to read through a book, and to pray together.
