Sunday Worship

TCC meets every Sunday at 10 a.m. for a time of corporate worship. The worship at TCC is centered on Christ in the Order of Worship.  Here is a brief description of the Order of Worship at TCC:

Gathering for Jesus:  Each week we have the joy of joining in with what is continuously happening in heaven - the worship of Jesus (Revelation 5:11-14). Every week as we leave our homes to gather, we are doing so to praise God together.  This part of worship includes a gathering song, a welcome and call to worship, and a preparatory song.

Giving for Jesus:  For those who call TCC their home, we cheerfully give because we worship the one who took on our spiritual poverty and gave us the riches of his grace (2 Corinthians 8-9). This part of worship includes an offering song and the offering.

Preaching Jesus:  All Scripture, including the entire Old Testament, proclaims Jesus the Messiah (Luke 24:44).  We desire to dig deep into Scripture because it points us to the glory of God in Jesus Christ.  This part of worship includes Scripture reading and expository preaching.  Currently we are preaching through the Gospel of Luke.

Remembering Jesus:  We take communion every week at TCC because when we see and partake of communion, Christians are nourished as we remember and proclaim the Lord's death until he returns (1 Corinthians 11:26).

Singing to Jesus:  We deeply enjoy music at TCC, because we love to sing about Jesus.  The goal of following Jesus is to be filled with the Spirit, which overflows with corporate singing and thanksgiving (Ephesians 5:18-21).  We sing most of our songs after the sermon so that we can respond to his Word.

Scattering for Jesus:  An encounter with Jesus results in a Spirit filled response to proclaim the gospel locally, nationally and globally (Luke 24:46-53; Acts 1:4-12; cf. Matthew 28:18-20).  We end each service with a closing song and a benediction.  Every week, we leave corporate worship at TCC to go back to our homes, communities, jobs, and campuses in order that God will be glorified in everything we do.
