Aaron Downs served as a pastor at Resurrection Church (Burnsville, MN) for the past eight years. He holds a PhD in Biblical Studies from Midwestern Seminary, where he wrote his dissertation on the image of God in Genesis. He is a fellow with the Center for Pastor Theologians and teaches as an adjunct professor at Bethlehem College and Seminary. He and his wife, Kate, have been married for ten years. Together they enjoy exploring Minnesota, hiking, fishing, and spending time with people on the deck or around a bonfire. They are also fond of their two pets, Harper Lee (a goldendoodle) and Eleanor (a feline huntress).
